The church I lead held our annual “Big Game Bash” last night for our community. Even with bad weather, we still had a great crowd. Here are the top 10 things I really loved about last night (in no particular order).
-
Our volunteers stepped it up big time. Thanks for your service!
-
How much further along we are from last year. This year was so much better prepared and coordinated.
-
150+ people showing up from our community.
-
A two time reigning “Biggest Fan”.
-
Introducing our upcoming sermon and youth series to our guests. I had a few people mention some series they wanted to come back and visit for.
-
That we got to connect with a ton of middle and high school students.
-
A brand new family to our area showed up because of an invite one of their kids got at school.
-
Bingo was more popular than the actual football game (that still blows my mind).
-
That two middle school students won our biggest door prizes.
-
Did I mention that our volunteers were awesome? You all rocked last night!
